The Sims Castaway Stories Quick Tips

Hints:

1. Alone on the island without any friends? Your Sim can gain a social boost by writing in their diary.
2. Your Sim's food resources drain at a faster rate if the lot they're on doesn't have a steamer trunk (or another place to store food).
3. A great way to develop friendships is by playing chess. Your Sim's relationship is strengthened and their comfort level stays high while they gain logic points.
4. Toddlers love to interact with their mothers, so considering keeping mom at home until the kiddies are school-aged.
5. Having trouble meeting the friend requirement for your Sim's promotion? Try keeping one family member home for the day and focus on increasing the family friend count.
6. If you want to start with more Simoleons, create Sims in separate families and then combine them.
7. Check out the island style time meter. Each orb represents three hours in a day. Three hours per orb x eight orbs = 24 hours. The blue orbs correspond to nighttime and the yellow ones, daylight hours.
8. If fulfilling all of your toddler's wants seems hard, here's a twist: raise the difficulty level! The faster their bladder need drops, the more chances you have to potty train the rascal.
9. Your Sims' needs are capped in Story Mode, so you don't have to worry about them dropping dead if their needs get low!
