The Sims Castaway Stories Quick Tips
Hints:
- Alone on the island without any friends? Your Sim can gain a social boost by writing in their diary.
- Your Sim's food resources drain at a faster rate if the lot they're on doesn't have a steamer trunk (or another place to store food).
- A great way to develop friendships is by playing chess. Your Sim's relationship is strengthened and their comfort level stays high while they gain logic points.
- Toddlers love to interact with their mothers, so considering keeping mom at home until the kiddies are school-aged.
- Having trouble meeting the friend requirement for your Sim's promotion? Try keeping one family member home for the day and focus on increasing the family friend count.
- If you want to start with more Simoleons, create Sims in separate families and then combine them.
- Check out the island style time meter. Each orb represents three hours in a day. Three hours per orb x eight orbs = 24 hours. The blue orbs correspond to nighttime and the yellow ones, daylight hours.
- If fulfilling all of your toddler's wants seems hard, here's a twist: raise the difficulty level! The faster their bladder need drops, the more chances you have to potty train the rascal.
- Your Sims' needs are capped in Story Mode, so you don't have to worry about them dropping dead if their needs get low!
